In this session, we will take the time to get to know you, the audience(s) which we’re designing clothes for, and what you envision as the optimum you. This session will take about an hour and can be made in your home, office or our suite with a fully stocked whisky bar
At Bryn Keith, we pride ourselves on one of the most extensive fabric selections in the DC Metro! We source fabrics from some of the best and well known mills in the world- Dormeuil, Loro Piana, Vitale Barberis, and Versace to name just a few. We will work with you to select the right fabrics with your style, audience and budget in mind.
As much as professional measurements are an exact science, it is also an art. We take exhaustive measurements to ensure a great fit. Beyond that, we discuss how you wear your clothes, we watch you walk, sit, stand, shake hands, put your hands in your pockets, etc. Each of these activities helps us understand if/how your clothes may be stressed from normal wear and tear; these observations are noted along with your measurements. Your measurements and our observation notes are saved in our database ready for your next purchase.
Our clients are as involved in the design process as you want to be. We consider everything from custom features on suit and sport jackets, slacks, skirts, overcoats and the shirts we make. Button selections, button stance, stitch embellishments, pocket styles, jacket/coat linings, etc. Custom suiting and custom coats takes between 6-8 weeks for delivery as the effects of COVID still affect our global supply chain to include vendors.
When your garment(s) arrive, we will press all suiting in preparation for your fitting. We will schedule an appointment to have you return and try on each piece to ensure the fit is as close to perfect as possible. If any adjustments are required, we will perform alterations at no expense to you and update your profile with the changes so that future pieces will reflect any changes made.
