Why: Contemporary jazz pianist Marcus Johnson and his Urban Jam Band perform songs from his latest album, Live & Direct, as well as songs from his 15 other releases. A proud graduate of Howard University and a renowned member of DC’s music scene, Johnson is a Billboard-ranked musician, producer, NAACP Image Award nominee, and founder of lifestyle company FLO Brands, LLC (For the Love Of). Amid his many pursuits, music has remained front and center for Johnson, who comes to AMP fresh off performances with jazz guitarists Earl Klugh and George Benson, singer Jeffery Osbourne, and saxophonist Boney James

What: Nice & Slow: 90’s R&B Wine Tasting

Why: A wine tasting event like none other as we groove to all the 90’s R&B classics while sipping the finest local and international wines.
